Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander households in the City of Banyule in 2021 compared to [POPBMHH] shows that 86.2% of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander households owned at least one car and 11.6% did not, compared with 87.6% and 10.3% respectively for [POPBMHH] .

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car, a smaller proportion who owned two cars, and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
