Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in South Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (125 females or 29.0%)
  • Education and Training (113 females or 26.2%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (36 females or 8.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 274 females in total or 63.6% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Armidale Regional Council area employed 23.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 25.4% in Education and Training; and 7.5% in Accommodation and Food Services.
