Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in West Armidale in 2021 compared to South Hill shows that there was a similar proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 18.4% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 14.8% were one-parent families, compared with 18.1% and 9.5% respectively for South Hill.
