Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population in City of Armadale in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Total employed persons aged 15+ (765 people or 100.0%)
- Labourers (118 people or 15.4%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (112 people or 14.6%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 995 people in total or 130.1% of the employed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population.
The major differences between the occupations held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of the City of Armadale and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of Greater Perth were:
