Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Figtree in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (829 females or 29.0%)
  • Education and Training (498 females or 17.4%)
  • Retail Trade (248 females or 8.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,575 females in total or 55.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Dapto - Brownsville employed 34.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.9% in Education and Training; and 12.7% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Figtree and Dapto - Brownsville were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (17.4% compared to 10.9%)
