Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the population born in India in City of Whitehorse in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (1,804 people or 38.4%)
- Managers (651 people or 13.9%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (541 people or 11.5%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,996 people in total or 63.8% of the employed population born in India.
In comparison, Greater Melbourne employed 29.4% in Professionals; 10.6% in Managers; and 10.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
