Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mont Albert in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (415 people or 16.5%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (399 people or 15.9%)
  • Education and Training (295 people or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,109 people in total or 44.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Whitehorse employed 14.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.7% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 10.3% in Education and Training.
