Analysis of the service age groups of Collie-Preston in 2021 compared to Western Australia shows that there was a higher proportion of people in the younger age groups (0 to 17 years) as well as a higher proportion of people in the older age groups (60+ years).
Overall, 23.4% of the population was aged between 0 and 17, and 26.7% were aged 60 years and over, compared with 22.6% and 21.8% respectively for Western Australia.
