Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Wanneroo in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (15,346 males or 28.4%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (7,174 males or 13.3%)
  • Professionals (7,033 males or 13.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 29,553 males in total or 54.6% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, North West Metropolitan Region employed 26.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 10.7% in Machinery Operators And Drivers; and 16.6% in Professionals.
