Dominant groups

Analysis of the family blending in Wangaratta (Central - East) in 2021 compared to the Rural City of Wangaratta shows that there was a similar proportion of step families as well as a similar proportion of blended families. Overall, 7.4% of total couple families with children were step families, and 6.2% were blended families, compared with 7.7% and 4.8% respectively for the Rural City of Wangaratta.
