Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Townsville in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (18,550 people or 19.7%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (15,159 people or 16.1%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (13,681 people or 14.6%)
