Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Chippendale in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (840 people or 19.5%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (478 people or 11.1%)
  • Education and Training (412 people or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,730 people in total or 40.1% of the total employed resident population.
