Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Peregian Springs in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (756 people or 15.4%)
  • Retail Trade (556 people or 11.3%)
  • Education and Training (497 people or 10.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,809 people in total or 36.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Bli Bli - Rosemount and District employed 16.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.2% in Retail Trade; and 7.8% in Education and Training.
