Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Golden Beach in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (405 people or 18.6%)
  • Construction (288 people or 13.2%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (197 people or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 890 people in total or 40.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Bli Bli - Rosemount and District employed 16.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.3% in Construction; and 6.8% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Golden Beach and Bli Bli - Rosemount and District were:
