The size of Nambour - Burnside and District's female labour force in 2021 was 4,699, of which 2,187 were employed part-time and 1,724 were full time workers.
Analysis of the female employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Nambour - Burnside and District in 2021 compared to Sunshine Coast shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 95.3% of the female labour force was employed, and 4.7% unemployed, compared with 95.8% and 4.2% respectively for Sunshine Coast.
Analysis of the labour force participation rate of the female population in Nambour - Burnside and District in 2021 shows that there was a lower proportion in the labour force (55.0%) compared with Sunshine Coast (56.8%).
