Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Strathfield Central (South) in 2021 compared to Homebush West shows that 87.9% of the households owned at least one car, while 7.8% did not, compared with 76.4% and 14.4% respectively in Homebush West.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 28.9% of the households owned one car; 35.4% owned two cars; and 23.6% owned three cars or more, compared with 52.1%; 20.3% and 4.1% respectively for Homebush West.
