Dominant groups

Analysis of the housing tenure of households of the City of Stonnington in 2021 compared to Windsor shows that there was a larger proportion of households who owned their dwelling; a larger proportion purchasing their dwelling; and a smaller proportion who were renters.

Overall, 26.8% of households owned their dwelling; 23.4% were purchasing, and 43.3% were renting, compared with 16.9%, 22.6% and 54.7% respectively for Windsor.
