Dominant groups
Analysis of the ancestry responses of the population in Toorak (West) in 2021 shows that the top five ancestries nominated were:
- English (3,386 people or 32.4%)
- Australian (2,275 people or 21.8%)
- Irish (1,206 people or 11.6%)
- Scottish (1,121 people or 10.7%)
- Chinese (1,022 people or 9.8%)
