Dominant groups
Analysis of the unpaid child care provided by people aged 18 to 24 years in the City of Stonnington in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a lower proportion of people who provided unpaid child care either to their own or to other children. Overall, 2.4% of the population aged 18 to 24 years provided unpaid child care, compared with 5.2% for Greater Melbourne.
