Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in South Perth in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (2,663 people or 38.3%)
  • Managers (1,149 people or 16.5%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (808 people or 11.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 4,620 people in total or 66.4% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Inner Perth employed 37.7% in Professionals; 14.4% in Managers; and 11.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
