Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Rural East in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Managers (184 people or 29.7%)
  • Professionals (95 people or 15.3%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (74 people or 11.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 353 people in total or 56.9% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Greater Shepparton employed 14.2% in Managers; 17.6% in Professionals; and 13.6% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Rural East and the City of Greater Shepparton were:
