Dominant groups
Analysis of the family blending in the City of Greater Shepparton in 2021 compared to Shepparton North West shows that there was a lower proportion of step families as well as a lower proportion of blended families. Overall, 7.5% of total couple families with children were step families, and 4.3% were blended families, compared with 8.2% and 5.6% respectively for Shepparton North West.
