Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Darling Downs area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (179 males or 19.9%)
  • Mining (108 males or 12.0%)
  • Manufacturing (91 males or 10.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 378 males in total or 42.0% of the total employed male resident population.
