Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Serpentine area in 2021 compared to Cardup area shows that 92.3% of the households owned at least one car, while 1.3% did not, compared with 96.3% and 0.5% respectively in Cardup area.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 13.9% of the households owned one car; 32.9% owned two cars; and 45.5% owned three cars or more, compared with 8.4%; 34.4% and 53.5% respectively for Cardup area.
