Dominant groups

Analysis of the share of the population attending educational institutions in North Sydney Council area in 2021 compared to Ku-ring-gai Council area shows that there was a lower proportion attending primary school, a lower proportion attending secondary school, and a similar proportion engaged in tertiary level education.

Overall, 5.3% of the population were attending primary school, 3.7% of the population were attending secondary institutions, and 8.2% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 9.9%, 9.3% and 8.4% respectively for Ku-ring-gai Council area.

The major differences between the share of the population attending learning institutions in North Sydney Council area and Ku-ring-gai Council area were:
