Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Yarrambat in 2021 compared to Kangaroo Ground shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 51.3% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 5.4% were one-parent families, compared with 43.1% and 5.9% respectively for Kangaroo Ground.

There were a similar proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children.
