Dominant groups

The size of Nillumbik Shire's labour force aged 25 to 34 years in 2021 was 4,831 persons, of which 1,140 were employed part-time and 3,154 were full time workers.

Analysis of the employment status of people aged 25 to 34 years (as a percentage of the labour force) in Nillumbik Shire in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a higher proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 97.1% of the labour force aged 25 to 34 years was employed and 2.9% unemployed, compared with 95.3% and 4.7% respectively for Greater Melbourne.
