Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 5,569 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in Former Pine Rivers Shire District, compared with 71,184 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in the Former Pine Rivers Shire District in 2021, compared to the City of Moreton Bay, shows that 5.0% used public transport, while 62.5% used a private vehicle, compared with 4.2% and 64.8% respectively in the City of Moreton Bay.
