Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Morayfield in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,815 people or 16.6%)
  • Labourers (1,782 people or 16.3%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (1,591 people or 14.5%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 5,188 people in total or 47.4% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Redcliffe employed 13.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 11.4% in Labourers; and 14.3% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
