Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Bribie Island in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (771 females or 25.4%)
  • Retail Trade (374 females or 12.3%)
  • Education and Training (372 females or 12.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,517 females in total or 49.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Moreton Bay employed 26.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Retail Trade; and 12.6% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Bribie Island and the City of Moreton Bay were:
