Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Rural Planning Area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,883 males or 20.2%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (817 males or 8.8%)
  • Manufacturing (701 males or 7.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,401 males in total or 36.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the Former Redcliffe Peninsula District employed 18.4% in Construction; 5.7% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 9.6% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Rural Planning Area and the Former Redcliffe Peninsula District were:
