Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Redcliffe in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (795 people or 19.5%)
  • Construction (403 people or 9.9%)
  • Retail Trade (359 people or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,557 people in total or 38.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Woodford area employed 12.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.0% in Construction; and 7.2% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Redcliffe and Woodford area were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed in health care and social assistance (19.5% compared to 12.2%)
