Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Rothwell in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (253 males or 17.2%)
  • Manufacturing (146 males or 10.0%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (136 males or 9.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 535 males in total or 36.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Warner employed 16.6% in Construction; 8.1% in Manufacturing; and 6.5% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Rothwell and Warner were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed in education and training (5.9% compared to 2.7%)
