Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Former Caboolture Shire District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (8,568 males or 20.8%)
  • Manufacturing (4,299 males or 10.4%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (3,611 males or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 16,478 males in total or 39.9% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Sunshine Coast LGA employed 21.1% in Construction; 6.5% in Manufacturing; and 4.8% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.
