Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bribie Island in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Health Care and Social Assistance (935 people or 15.5%)
- Construction (711 people or 11.8%)
- Retail Trade (606 people or 10.0%)
In combination, these three industries employed 2,252 people in total or 37.3% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Caboolture (West) employed 16.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.3% in Construction; and 10.9% in Retail Trade.
