Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Deception Bay in 2021 compared to the City of Moreton Bay shows that there was a similar proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 20.9% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 17.7% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 21.2% and 16.8% respectively for the City of Moreton Bay.
