Dominant groups
Analysis of the family blending in the Former Redcliffe Peninsula District in 2021 compared to Bribie Island shows that there was a lower proportion of step families as well as a lower proportion of blended families. Overall, 13.8% of total couple families with children were step families, and 5.3% were blended families, compared with 16.3% and 4.8% respectively for Bribie Island.
