The size of Woody Point's male labour force in 2021 was 1,020, of which 199 were employed part-time and 657 were full time workers.
Analysis of the male employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Woody Point in 2021 compared to Strathpine Planning Area shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 92.5% of the male labour force was employed, and 7.5% unemployed, compared with 95.1% and 4.9% respectively for Strathpine Planning Area.
Analysis of the labour force participation rate of the male population in Woody Point in 2021 shows that there was a lower proportion in the labour force (54.6%) compared with Strathpine Planning Area (71.8%).
Between 2016 and 2021, the number of males employed in Woody Point showed a decrease of 29, and the number unemployed showed a decrease of 23. In the same period, the number of males in the labour force showed a decrease of 52 or 4.9%.
