Dominant groups
Analysis of the car ownership of the households in the City of Moreton Bay in 2021 compared to Kippa-Ring shows that 91.1% of the households owned at least one car, while 4.4% did not, compared with 85.7% and 8.7% respectively in Kippa-Ring.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 32.8% of the households owned one car; 37.0% owned two cars; and 21.3% owned three cars or more, compared with 36.5%; 31.9% and 17.3% respectively for Kippa-Ring.
