The major differences in the male age groups reporting a need for assistance in the Former Redcliffe Peninsula District and Coastal & Bribie Planning Area were:
- A larger percentage of males aged 80 to 84 (26.6% compared to 23.0%)
- A larger percentage of males aged 85 and over (40.4% compared to 37.0%)
