Overall, 26.6% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 7.4% were one-parent families, compared with 12.0% and 7.1% respectively for Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest and surrounds.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children.
