Dominant groups

Analysis of the families with children in Harrington and surrounds in 2021 compared to Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest and surrounds shows that there was a larger proportion of couples with young children, as well as a larger proportion of couples with older children.

Overall, 7.0% of total households with children were couple with young children, and 5.9% were couples with older children, compared with 5.2% and 5.0% respectively for Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest and surrounds.
