Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Lockyer Valley Regional Council in 2021 compared to Withcott and District shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 28.7% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.7% were one-parent families, compared with 41.2% and 8.9% respectively for Withcott and District.
