Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Lithgow Urban Area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (602 people or 13.8%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (468 people or 10.7%)
  • Retail Trade (454 people or 10.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,524 people in total or 34.9% of the total employed resident population.
