The size of North Wahroonga's labour force in 2021 was 995, of which 291 were employed part-time and 574 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in North Wahroonga in 2021 compared to Pittwater Council area shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 95.4% of the labour force was employed, and 4.6% unemployed, compared with 96.9% and 3.1% respectively for Pittwater Council area.
Analysis of the labour force participation rate of the population in North Wahroonga in 2021 shows that there was a lower proportion in the labour force (58.8%) compared with Pittwater Council area (62.0%).
