Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Brassall in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (846 people or 16.5%)
  • Retail Trade (566 people or 11.0%)
  • Education and Training (475 people or 9.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,887 people in total or 36.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Ipswich employed 15.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.7% in Retail Trade; and 8.2% in Education and Training.
