Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Brassall in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (690 females or 26.5%)
  • Education and Training (379 females or 14.6%)
  • Retail Trade (347 females or 13.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,416 females in total or 54.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Ipswich employed 25.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.9% in Education and Training; and 11.3% in Retail Trade.
