Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Inner West Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (19,384 males or 38.5%)
  • Managers (9,936 males or 19.7%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (5,963 males or 11.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 35,283 males in total or 70.0% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Greater Sydney employed 26.5% in Professionals; 17.5% in Managers; and 16.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Inner West Council area and Greater Sydney were:
