Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Glossodia in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (283 people or 19.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (167 people or 11.3%)
  • Retail Trade (128 people or 8.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 578 people in total or 39.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Hawkesbury City employed 16.3% in Construction; 11.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.7% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Glossodia and Hawkesbury City were:
