Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Shire of Gingin in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (286 females or 25.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (113 females or 10.0%)
  • Education and Training (101 females or 8.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 500 females in total or 44.1% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Greater Perth employed 0.6% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 23.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 13.6% in Education and Training.
